CCI Budgets

Navigate to Cloud Cost Intelligence

Navigate to All Capabilities > Cloud Cost Intelligence.

Access budgets

From the left-hand navigation menu, select the Budgets tab.

Create budgets

1. On the Budgets page, click Create a budget.
2. In the Create a budget pop-up dialog box, enter the following information:

• Budget name: A descriptive name for your budget.

• Select the required setup type:

  Basic setup

  Field name	Description
  Frequency	By default, the Frequency is set to Monthly.
  Amount	Enter a budget amount.
  Type	Select a data category to monitor. Apply up to five filters, including two resource tags, based on cloud cost attributes.
  Scope	Select the required scope from the dropdown.

  

  Advance Setup

  The Advance Setup tab offers more customization to define specific frequency, configure scope, time duration, and amount for the budget.

  • Frequency

  Field name	Description
  Limit	By default, the Limit is set to Expiring.
  Frequency	By default, the Frequency is set to Monthly.

  • Configure scope

  Field name	Description
  Type	Select a data category to monitor. Apply up to five filters, including two resource tags, based on cloud cost attributes.
  Scope	Select the required scope from the dropdown.

  • Set time duration

  Field name	Description
  Start duration	Select the start date for the budget.
  End duration	Select the end date for the budget.

  • Amount:
    • To set individual budgets for each month, toggle the Specify multiple amounts option.
    • Optionally, in the Budget Amount field, enter a required budget amount.

Review and confirm

Review the final budget setup, then click Create.
